Georgia Hog Hunting.
« on: March 20, 2017, 10:58:00 AM »
I have a family member moving down to Georgia and I can see some hunting opportunities in my future. I was wondering if there is anybody that can steer me in a good direction on where to hunt them and the regs. I check out the wrd website but it seem confusing on when and where you can hunt.  I haven't really dove into it yet but any help would be great.

Join the TBG and you are automatically invited to several hog hunts per year...

Their newsletters can be read from this web site and provide good info to get started.  For example, they wouldn't be having a group hunt at a specific WMA unless there was decent hog hunting there.

He is moving to Gainsville area for now untill he finds a house. I would love to steer him closer to hog territory! I think they have to stay somewhat closer to Atlanta though.

There are bunches of TBG members that regularly shoot up there at Gainesville. You will have no trouble finding contacts in that area.
