Primos Rattle Can Corn and Rubber Acorns sound like the next big craze!

The Deer Doctor said he likes to put out plastic apples sprayed with apple scent. That might be worth investigating too.

I had read that Ishi reported a marked change in his ability to get close to deer once hunting with firearms became more common in CA.  Apparently, the deer just got more nervous & jumpy in ways that they never were before when all hunting was traditional only.
