One of my buddies and I are going to be putting in and we are fresh out with no points. Would any fellow Okie's want to put in with us? We need 2 other hunters

Still debating if I'm going to apply this year. Haven't applied for any hunts in almost 15yr. Working in the oilfield making earthquakes means my schedule is kinda hairy as to days off and competing with other guys for vacation days during hunting season.
What's really sad is I used to live less than a mile from the fences on the east side near the turnpike and didn't have a stick bow at the time.

Not to get off topic but do they still hold the August shoot.

Been 8 or 9 years since I went. It was 107 deg the first day but I survived and really enjoyed the challenging course

Thinking I want to go this year. Sure wish they had it at a better time but it is what it is.
I like wood bows. They fit my style and mentally simple self

Yes, they still have it.  Usually the first weekend in August. I think that's the reason they have such a large turnout, there are very few shoots that time of year in this part of the country because of the heat.

I'll put in with y'all if you still need 1. The last time I drew was in 2014, so I should have 2 preference points to average with anybody else's. If y'all find somebody with more points, I'll understand if you want to put in with them instead.

I was going to put in for this one also. Let me know if you still need one.
