Technical Advice
« on: October 31, 2007, 10:45:00 PM »
Hello everyone. Here is my problem.  I have a really neat Longbow that I enjoy shooting.  The only draw back is I hit about 1-3 inches left on every shot.  1 inch left on shots 15 yards and closer and 2-3 inches on longer shots (for me longer is 20-35 yards).

I thought it was arrow spine so I went to heritage 150's with no extra weight besides the field point. That helped some, but I still hit a little left. With a broad head it magnifies the left miss...   I shoot a 4 blade muzzy tpye head...

The bow is cut to center, but not past....   What else could I do to correct this left miss?  Thanks in advance...
Blessings,
Steve

I think you're on the right track but still need more point weight.  The broadheads are just telling you what the field point can't.

I forot to mention, I bare shafted and left them a little touch weak or nock left so when feathers were added and a broadhead it should be just about perfectly tuned....
Blessings,

Aim about 1 to 3 inches to the right! LOL
Seriously, Steve, you might try a thinner side plate, if possible...
I'm only as good as my first shot.
