Aluminum Arrow Question
«
on:

Does anyone know/remember what the strength was on the old green Easton Gamegetter shafts? I'm looking at getting some of the new Easton Tribute shafts for economy and at 90,000 psi, I'm thinking they are at least an equal to the old Gamegetters in that department. Thanks!

Unless mistaken, I believe that is what the green shafts were.

I agree with JimB. I had some brand new, old stock, Gamegetter 2's in 2018 spine, and they bent so easily it was crazy. I've had better luck with the Camohunters in the same spine.

OK guys, thanks for the info. Going from 90,000 psi to 96,000 psi must make more difference than I would have thought. I think I'll forget economy and go for the higher quality shafts. Thanks again!

My 1994 Easton arrow shaft flyer shows the green GameGetter shafts are 7075-T9 96,000 dark green . Same stuff and strength as the xx75. But not as close of tolerances as XX75 Maybe the earlier ones were less . I also thought the ones I had years ago were easy to bend and not as good as XX75 shafts.
