who thinks this would work? (quiver mod.)
« on: January 26, 2007, 03:23:00 PM »
i have one of those regular 4-arrow kwikee kwivers that clamps on. and i was thinking that mabye i could take a steel rod and use it to attach the two parts of the quiver and put a leather hood on it like the great northerns to avoid the clip on hood.. hmm mabye this would work, what do yall think?

You could do that, but if you already have the clip on hood, why not attach it to the steel rod?

I think you could prolly get it to work, but I think it would also be heavy.   espcially on a longbow

well, the clip on hood is kinda noisy and i want to seperately attach the hood with a skinny little rod, like used on the GN quivers, i want to attach the hood and rod off to the side. and the clip on hood wouldn't allow that.

Oh. I had thought you wanted to make a side quiver like G. Fred uses. I'm on the same page now.
