Thinking about buying a stock glass bow, from Jim Neaves. Any suggestions or should i get a custom, will all the bells and whistles. Not sure if i should get 60" or 62 " length. Would like to hear your opinions.

Depends.....what do you like? Thumb rest, yes/no...finger grooves, yes/no? stippeling? I have all three models. Some say the glass bow is the quietest. In my experience not so. It is prettier because you can show off pretty lams under the clear glass. The glass bow gives up 3 or 4 fps to the Chimera and 7 or 8 to the elite. Not a big deal unless speed is really important to you. If you have a 28 or 29 inch draw you wont be able to tell the difference between the 60 and 62 with your eyes closed. I would recommend the XTL lam in what ever one you decide on. I guess I would recommend a used one or two until you sort out what you really want but get on Jims list while you are doing that.  You will like Jims bows...one of the best and he is a great guy and very talented.  My preference is a 62" Chimera, no finger grooves, XTL lam without the dark matter. I like a light, quiet, quick and good looking bow and that one nails it.  Good luck.
