Lost Longbow - Big River
« on: July 07, 2017, 12:47:00 PM »
Lost Longbow. While camping at the Pumphouse campground on the upper Colorado River on June 29th I failed to load my longbow when I packed up. It's a Big River R/D 60#@28" 66" - Cocobolo riser and Myrtle limb veneers - "Custom for Pete McMiller". Please contact me if you have any information on my bow, it's my first custom bow - I'd really like to see it again.

I have contacted the Grand County Sheriff's office, BLM office, RMSG, FB and am trying to get the word out to as many people as possible.

My brother lives an hour away from there and his buddies are always looking for an excuse to go rafting.  I texted him to see if he or his friends can look for it this weekend.  Fingers crossed!

Thanks EVG.  I did stop back at the campground two days ago on my way back to Wisconsin and didn't see any evidence of it but who knows.  This is a pretty small community we have and since my name is on it I am hopeful that it will show up.
