I must be nuts!
« on: July 17, 2017, 06:26:00 PM »
Been up at my property working all day and decided to come sit in a stand for a while with my bow to try to kill a hog. It is a tad warm out this evening though.

Well for whatever reason the pics won't post now so I will have to work on that later.

The feel like temp on the weather channel app is showing 103 deg right now and it feels every bit of it.

I will not argue with you, your nuts. And I thought mid nineties here was hot. I don't like to hunt hogs enough for that.

The temp is in the low 90's, it's the humidity that makes it really bad.

That's hot just to be sitting in it. Now if you do get one there's the cleaning, dragging it out that could over heat you. I would get help, preferably a young person who still thinks they are invincible. Good luck!

Yeah, you're nuts. Most of us are. However, as I get older, I just can't stay out in the heat the way I used to do.

I had my brother inlaw with me and the tractor by the pond so it wouldn't have been much dragging.

Darn thunderstorm ran us out at 6:30 so we are back at his camp. Gunna fire up the grill and hydrate a little

My wife and I went thru eastern Canada last June. I remember a friend texting me and the heat index at home was 110 deg. We were in Digby NS at the time and the lows were in the upper 40's. Loved it out there, beautiful place.
