Another nod towards RMS Cutthroats.

I did order some Valkyrie 250gr Bloodeagles last night as a long term project for next years Spring Bear season.

I've killed alot of animals (whitetail/hogs) with the muzzy phantom SS version that was 225 grains. I always s had good blood trails and penetration. I'd recommend using a brass screw in insert to get your weight up above 500 grains if you can.
Lots of great heads out there these days. I really like the more traditional style heads with screw in inserts mounted inside.

Montecs are powdered metal....can't go there.

So, if I read you correctly....125s?  Check out the Red Rivers, they just became a Sponsor...based on the Fred Bear Razor Heads....a very time proven design.

If you are looking for a 2 blade...check Out Badger Broadheads.

Get the KME sharpener and you will have the phantoms hair popping sharp in no time.

The hardened steel really holds and keeps an edge for a long time. I've taken a lot of hogs with them and never had a problem.

I've tried a bunch of heads and the phantoms for me are in the top three but then again I really prefer a three or four blade head.

As others have mentioned, the Zwickey Eskimos are excellent (and are my favorites).

Designed to be re-sharpened and are very stout. Real life experience backs up the legendary performance - missing the target and hitting a concrete wall = trashed arrow and undamaged Eskimo - ooops!!!(employing the modification described below).

A slight modification of filing the very tip to a tiny, flat "edge" (like a "Tanto" point on the Cold Steel knives) is about all that needs to be done. With that, I'd bet the Eskimos will slice into and through anything on the North American continent - they definitely put the hurt on a concrete barrier - oops!

While i haven't shot one into a game animal yet, i do have a pkg of the Red River R1 broadheads in the 125gr weight.

The main blades are quite thick and seem very solidly fixed to the ferrule. I'm planning on giving them a whirl this fall so hopefully will have an in-field experience to report.
