We hunted a friends place in Blanco . Saw around 300 deer , had 3 deer duck arrows at 10-12 yards. We decided to head back up when it cools off. The deer up there drop quick on the shot never could hold low enough ....lol. They were nervous coming in I figured that made them even faster to respond. Hope everyone had a great weekend.

It was a great weekend. Didn't shoot anything but had a lot of activity.

Best of luck to ya. Aim LOW!!! In East Texas, 12-15 feet up in a treestand, I need to pick a spot just below the Brisket. It's hard to shoot under the animal but it will work better for you.

Just getting back from an Elkhunt with HITMAN here on Tradgang. Nothing on the ground but a great time. I'll be in the stand for the first time at my ranch this Friday afternoon...can't wait!
