Arrows for new bow.
« on: October 13, 2017, 08:13:00 PM »
My Slick Stick came today so I am needing some arrows.
The bow specs are #50 @28” 60” r/d longbow.
I want to use aluminum only and have an idea what I’d like to use but not really sure so would appreciate any suggestions.
Here’s what I’m thinking
XX75 2018 full length 200gr points to start.
Opinions? Suggestions?
Thanks!

A little more info. would help. What is your draw length, is the bow a LB, hybrid, recurve. Is it cut to center, past.

I draw 28”   Advertisement says it’s cut to center  and it is a hybrid longbow.

I’d go with 2117 and 5” helical feathers

I just got an Elkheart  in about the exact same specs t
And a 2117 perfectly shot out of my bow
A lot of what I do for people and send them a sample of the shaft to tune and play with to make sure they're getting exactly the right arrow let me know if there's anything I can do to help but I would say 2117 would be perfect

2016 and 2117. I’ll look in that direction.
Thanks!
