Hidden Hunter blinds

Do you shoot thru the screens? Are the screens removable or zip down?

Hidden hunter blinds, have Velcro on the screens.  I didn't get a camo pattern on the screens.  You don't have to worry about the Velcro, because you're not moving or replacing them in the woods.  Most guys take them out when turkey hunting.  I have had enough double bull blinds, that I purchased extra screens for and I am making camo screens for my Hidden hunter blind.   you can take your screens out, IF you brush them in really well.   Wear black, wear a black glove on your bow hand.  And place a small branch on the inside in the center of the window with other branches on the outside along the edges of the window.  So that when a deer comes up or is coming up, you can take the one in the center away. Carefully of course.  But, I've had mine really well brushed in, and my glasses still gave me away.  In my wife's words " she is looking straight at your face" the deer did circle back behind us, and then came around the front again.  But as they say she was on Redalert !!!

Any kind of ground hunting is just a lot of fun !

How do they compare is cost with the Double Bull?  I have had a Double Bull for many years and like it.  It is in the preditor tan color and had taken several turkeys from it.  A friend had a blind that had Velcro for the screens and when removing them, they made a lot of noise - just a thought.  
I also have put a piece of carpet on the ground and a small heater.  Sure nice when the weather is bad.  Can still spend the entire day in the blind with comfort.

I feel cramped in mine like it is not wide enough.  I also have a recurve model double bull and a big mikes canvas.

I shoot my 66" David Miller hill style bow out of my with HH blind room to spare. I don't have a 68" bow so I couldn't tell you for sure but I wouldn't be surprised if you could use it

As I pointed out before, there's not going to be many times when you are taking the screens out of the blind in the woods. You do that stuff at home. I know the Hidden hunter blind, is about the easiest to set up and take down that I've ever had.  The thing I like about it also, they're not made overseas (China).  And the material they use is not a shiny surface.

But as they say each to their own.  Ron looks pretty comfortable in his hidden hunter .  And he's not exactly a munchkin !!!

And I'm not either !

I think it's all what you get used to. If double bull was still made in America 15 miles from my home like it was, I'm probably still have a double bull.  But the ease of setting up a hidden hunter, and the quality of the product is all developed by the attitude of the makers. There's no doubt about it it's a good product.

Which model do you use sir?  There are 3 different sizes available.  Curious which one you're using.

The largest one 6X6 (actually 6'3" tall) the others are more for gun hunters

I haven't tried it with my little buddy in it yet.  But here in Minnesota, if you popped the blind up, and you step inside, it feels like springtime again !  Well not quite but the 10° difference it really makes a difference.

I say the same thing that I've heard a lot of people say  " why did I wait so long, I should've done this five years ago"

It's about the same thing with the classic  bow you make Ron,
I should have never canceled my order. But, too much poundage now.
I'm only shooting between 35# and 40#

If I had a bow that was too long for the Hidden Hunter Blind, it would be just a good excuse to order a new shorter bow, right Ron !
