Thinking about pulling the trigger on a Stalker Coyote XT or an SL. I was wondering if anyone here has the XT with the static and longbow limbs ?

South moved his shop and is working hard to catch up. He makes a sweet rig.

I picked up a used Coyote FXT with static limbs a couple of years ago. The bow is very fast and quiet. I shooting a 695 grain arrow out of about 55# at my draw. Not sure the speed but it's quick. It's an amazing shooter. It's already killed a pile of deer, turkeys and squirrels

I have two...one static and one longbow...also have another on order.
They are everything you want in a Bow...fast, quiet. And good manners.

Buy one, great bows.
Picked up a used 2016 coyote static recurve earlier this year. Really nice bow, as already stated very quiet and quick.
Smooth drawing as well.

I have a Wolverine XT with static limbs, fast quiet and accurate. South handles are some of the best , also the quality of his woods and craftsmanship are second to none, I plan to order another one.

I picked up a barely used Coyote FXT Recurve w/static tips earlier this year from RMS Gear. I liked it so much & it tuned relatively easy that it wasn't long before I called South and ordered a set of matching LB Limbs for it.
It will be well worth the wait from South regardless of model and limb choice.

I have several Stalker Stickbows including a couple of Coyote FXT with static recurve limbs and longbow limbs. The Coyote is my go-to bow for 3D and bowhunting. Excellent workmanship, they shoot great and South Cox is a great guy to work with.
South finished his move to Estes Park, Colorado and moved into his remodeled house and new shop. He tells me he will be caught up with his back log of bow orders due to the down-time associated with his move and remodel by the end of October.

I've got another Coyote built with Snakewood and black phenolic. It's gorgeous too. I'll see if I can get a good photo of it up. South is currently making me 2 more Coyotes.

Dingo on the left, Wolverine in the middle, Coyote on the right. Stained Big Leaf Maple and black phenolic. I experimented extensively with stain formulas to try to emulate the look of the violin below. I gave that stain formula to South to use on my bows and for any future bows for his clients who like that look.

Absolutely beautiful!! I have a Coyote FXT LB I have killed a bunch of deer with it. South's Bows have to be the easiest bows to tune also. Like others have said fast, smooth and quiet. My buddy has one with the static limbs and I think my LB is faster. His is 56"-50#@28" and mine is listed below. South is a great guy give him a call. You won't be disappointed.

Tim asked "how do you like that one piece bow?"
The one piece Dingo longbow shot well but the Wolverine and Coyotes shoot better for me so I sold the Dingo. The Wolverine and Coyotes all shoot where I look. I can shoot one and then switch to another and they shoot exactly the same. I have started to shoot my Coyotes more than my Wolverine so I will probably sell my Wolverine with the 2 sets of limbs. I really like being able to shoot either longbow limbs or static recurve limbs of varying draw weights from any of my Coyote risers since they are all interchangeable. I chronographed all of my Stalker limbs and bows and have found my Wolverine shoots the same speeds as my Coyotes. In both cases my static recurve limbs shoot about 5 fps faster than my longbow limbs. Last year I hunted with one of my Coyote static recurves and this year I hunted with one of my Coyote longbows. Both bows harvested elk.

I have the XT with static 56" limbs. The shorter limbs are still smooth as butter and very fast! You can't go wrong with South's bows!
