Quality nocks ?
« on: October 24, 2017, 01:02:00 AM »
Over the years has several nocks break and cause a Dry Fire . The past two years had three up I/16 in from the string saddle . No arrow strikes just failure of the Marco white plastic .
Would pay anything for toughest nocks available to avoid failures !
Cheers from the Land that has Everything except the Stanley Cup .

Get rid of the Marco nocks and use Bohning.

For a push in Nock,Beman S Nock. They are the same as the Old Easton S Nocks. None better IMO! For a glue on,cant say!

Is there something I should look for with Marco Snap Nocks??

I like the snap design of these.

Thank you Charlie

Good morning All , thanks for the replys . McDave , I ment slightly up the side of the nock above the saddle . Normaly a failure would happen at that saddle and not above it . Note two of these failures occurred from a new batch of nocks .
Cheers , still no Stanley !

I have long used Mercury speed noks.  I liked the old Bjorn noks for a time, but have trouble finding them now.

Bohning makes a quality product though.

Mercury Speed nocks are great, but I think they had a quality issue not long ago. I hope that was resolved.

I’m partial to Easton supernocks and the gold tip nocks, though they are looser on the string that the Eastons.

Bohning classic.

If you can just keep from smacking them with the next arrow they hold up great.

It has been many years since I used mercury speed nocks, but I don't recall ever having an issue with them.

I have been using Mercury Classic Nocks for several years now, and they are fantastic. I've never had an issue with them.

At some point Mercury Speed Nocks were discontinued by Allied.  I think someone else has since picked them up.

I still have some 11/32", but lately taper my shafts down to 5/16" at the crown.
