the is an archery club in Kenai, Kenai Penn. Archers I believe they are called. I have shot at their outdoor range, not sure if they have an indoor facility or not. I am in Anchorage.

oh good they even have a range!!! where i live now i have no other traditional archers to shoot with. i would prefer outdoor ranges anyway. I grew up in anchor point, so the weather on the peninsula is generly mild enough to shoot year round, if you dont mind diging in the snow for lost arows. i shot indoors alot in fairbanks during the winter. indoors is quite limiting unless you like to shoot paper groups wich is fun.

this is my favorite bow lately, I have been shooting it all fall, very smooth. I could use another long bow lesson however...still grilling salmon on the cedar planks... so good.
look familiar???

I do seem to have a recolection of that bow and knife as well....
I went with a couple of friends to a local sports bar to watch a game last weekend. I kept thinking of the one you and I went to and were watching salmon make their way up stream from the window. That was pretty cool!

I was a guest of a member, I think she said it was around $20 per year to be a member.

i was there a couple weeks ago. akhntr do you do spring bears anywhere near you? do you bait or stalk. im moving from cordova the bears here are great. 10 min drive from home to the slides and bait lots of bears but it takes some weeks to get them on the bait really good. so i dont think i can come back for it.
