Short Wire Brimmed hats
« on: November 29, 2017, 11:53:00 AM »
I lost my Tradgang camo hat while walking into the woods a few weeks ago. I attached it to my back quiver and in my sneaking thru the saplings it must have gotten pulled off. I have back traced my steps but cannot find it.

Are there any available from anywhere? I recalled Terry and Sheila Lightle had them, but they are out.

Any other sponsors carry those type hats?

I got my two from Brothers of the Bow (the Wensel's) - but sadly that source is also no longer available.

You found one, but I'll reply anyway. "The Footed Shaft" in Minnesota has some. I've got one myself.

We have them but they are getting scarce.. They were discontinued 3 or 4 years ago but they must have had thousands of each color or even 10's of thousands of each color in stock at the time.

Eventually they would run out of the most popular patterns. One at a time they would disappear. Now they only have a couple of decent patterns left in the wire brim and no solid colors at all.

We have some solid brim and they are very nice, but probably wont work for most to shoot in, but they look good. We also have a bunch of the wire brims in plain and logo.

I have been actively searching a replacement but to no avail.
Get them while you can.
Thanks, BigJim

Oh, I see Bud beat me to it already. They have been giving them away for taking their bows on a test run. They are nice hats.

I don't know if you'd be interested, but I've been using a reproduction wwii wool cap. Think Radar. Short brimmed and warm.

I have a hat on the way and have hinted to my daughters about a cheap Christmas present.

I want these to wear year 'round. Not for just hunting or for warmth.

Thanks all!

How do you reach Stykbowman about the hats?
