Zipper Bow
« on: November 07, 2007, 02:39:00 PM »
Just about to order a new Zipper. Any pics or opinions appreciated. Trying to figure out the combo i want is a nightmare, one bow is nicer than the next. By the way , has anyone seen the giant bucks Bill Dunn has killed. WOW!

I love my Zipper! 51#@28". It is named Black Beauty. Got it new at Compton's this year at a discounted price. I ordered another custom bow from a different bowyer the same day and can't even get excited about the new bow because this bow fits me and shoots so well. Shot a small doe with it last week and see many more in the future.

Standard's are pretty nice too...Snakewood and Birdseye maple. Still have these limbs (61@27 on the Standard, 65@27 on the Extreme)

Another Standard. I kept these limbs for my Extreme (58@27)

I also am techno challenged so can't help at this time for pics. I think the tip design and limb tapers really make a difference on my bow. The tips seem narrower and the taper a bit faster from the fadeouts.
