Who all is shooting these and your thoughts/feedback?!

I have been toying around with the idea of switching things up and trying a EFOC set up. Heck I just made the switch to 3 under after 15 years of shooting split so why not keep making changes??

For the last few years I have been shooting FMJ's with good success:

400's, 29.5", 75gr insert, 25gr 2" footing, 200gr point. (55ish# bows, 28" draw).

I am most likely going to order a 400 and 350 shaft to play with, and plan on using the 100gr stainless outsert. I would then like to load up the front with 250-300 gr points.

Your thoughts and experiences would be greatly appreciated especially if you transitioned from a similar set up.

Been shooting them going on 2 years now.i love them. Best arrow setup ive ever shot. I am running an after market outsert system though made by Valkyrie. If the x impacts have a short coming it's the nocks
I replaced mine with easton g nocks.
My setup is a full length. 300 with 300 on the nose. 60@31" I shot through the entire length of a big mature muley in September with them.

Are these too micro to run 4” four fletch?

I shot some and was so impressed with the flight characteristics that I totally changed up but not too them. Shooting the Victory VAPs with 100gr outserts, very similar arrow, it's first time I ever chased extreme FOC and I'm not going back for arrows used chasing big game. Went up thirty grains in arrow weight and my long distance point on didn't change. Think it's because the flight is so much cleaner, even went to real short high profile feathers, think they are only 2 to 2.5"long and still have amazing flight EVERY shot! They are just extremely forgiving of operator error. I highly doubt you will need the heavier spine model!!! I'm shooting full length 400 spine with 350gr up front from 31"@59# draw!

Awesome arrows, easiest arrow to get EFOC that I’ve seen. I find that they tune very easy, but that they run stiff. I would think a 350 will be as soft as you can go.

Great thing is you can get individual shafts at Lancaster

I cannot imagine you could 4 fletch....

I think that may be too stiff unless your bow is cut past center. They act dynamically stiff in my opinion. I'm running a hundred grains more tip weight up front on a same length spine arrow as my standard diameter arrows I used before.

Lot depends on bow, I shoot a Lynx Longbow, I pull almost 31" at 59ish pounds and shoot a full length .400 spine with 350gr up front. I would guess you will be in a .400 spine or even a trimmed .500, I'm shooting the Victory VAPs though not the Black Eagle but they shot the same as the Black Eagle I tried out. I think if you could order the tester arrows somebody mentioned it would be a good idea. These micro diameter arrows are super forgiving and I've seen them run off multiple bows. It's good stuff!

Been looking at some x impacts also. I'm thinking 500s for my set-up(47lb kmag @ 28, 29.5" actual draw length,  full length,  200gr points,  standard 48gr outsert). Been shooting victory rip xv's lately. They're just not as durable as I'd like.

Bow is cut 1/8th past center. FF string drawing about 27.5

Currently shooting 29" .500s with 225 up front.  I have toyed around and the .400's shoot good and are close dynamically with 300 grain point + insert and the extra half inch.  I know the thinner arrows bring them more toward center making them act stiffer.  I'm going to try shooting them with 300 grains up front and possibly use heavier inserts/outserts if need be.

I started using them this year and really like them. Not the most durable shaft I’ve ever used. But better than most.

I run full length 250 spine with the 100 grain outserts and a 250 grain cutthroat. Somewhere around 26-28 percent foc.

Plenty of room to 4 fletch. I run 4x3” @ 90 degrees. You may have trouble running 120x60

Shot from a 52@31 covert hunter it went through a cow elk this fall and about 10” into the hillside behind her.
