New England moose draws

Given the declining moose population in Maine and New Hampshire, is it even worth the effort to put in for the draw? Ive been doing it for a while and have
11 points in NH and 15 in Maine, but the odds as a nonresident are not good. Any body from those areas feel like chiming in on this?

I'm still gathering points in VT but debate it each year. I entered for the points only the last two years but don't think I missed anything by not getting into the actual lottery.
