the third night I was in a natural ground blind beyond another stand by 200 yds , though I heard pigs none came to the corn I had spread . I went out at ten to meet Manny - (frenchymanny) and on the way saw his light on the ground and assumed he was just waiting on me. I spooked a very small pig as I came up to the feeder and found Manny was stalking it . We waited ten minutes and it didn't return but I could hear it so into the brush I went. I found a nest of very small pocket pigs and put my arrow away to see if I could catch one by hand however that didn't work out. end the third hunt

The fourth and final night I hunted double bull stand which is where Manny had been the night before and this stand has a green solar LED light . I had a group of small pigs in just about dark with the green light on it was easy to see. Two maybe 80 lb pigs came in after them and I decided to take one . I waited for the shot I wanted and when it came i was ready so i thought. I reminded myself at the last second to aim low which I did not and shot right over its back and they all ran out of there.
I heard another one coming in and had already put another arrow on the string. This time it was a large sow and came right in from behind the feeder. She noticed my lighted nocturnal right away and spooked a little but stopped beyond the left rear leg of the feeder at about 25 yds and with no time to think i drew and released. The shot looked good and she ran off with my nocturnal lighting the way she went. I watched until she went into the woods at probably 200 yds away but on a dead run it didn't take her long to reach the woods.
I texted casey - (zmonster) after that and had him stalk in as another group of pigs had come in and I wanted him to try to shoot one . The pigs left just before he got in range , no fault of his as a large pig had scared them away. Dave arrived about then after getting his pig out and we went after my pig. Casey found blood right away and off we went with pretty good blood and after one missed turn that dave figured out the blood just kept getting better. We had to crawl into the brush after her but found her with no problem . Casey found us a short trail out and dragged her to the field. A quick call to BigJim and she was in the truck .
Thanks again to all the guys that made this hunt such a great adventure . Drew

That week of hunting pig is so important to me!
This combination of a wonderful hunting ground, the South hospitality and weather, and old friends. Charlie, you were missed!

Awesome Guys. It certainly was a difficult week for me to focus on work everyday knowing what I was missing.
After Helping Dave get his pig out last year, be thankful you shot that one where you didn't have to drag through soft sand drew.
Thank you for saving one for me for next year.
