I wonder if fletch tape would work for this???  I think I will try some as I have all the materials at home.

Great tutorial, I'llhave to give it a shot.
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.

The fletch tape might be a good idea.

Doc; thanx for the tutorial. I'm going to try your way as soon as I get the fur and bobbin.

Fletch tape will work, but it doesn't hold up as well for me.  This is just my method.  Since I tie up fly fishing flies anyway, it is pretty easy...Doc

Contact cement on both the shaft and the strip should work...same as the spiral flu flu demo right.

Doc, great method. I have been using super glue and self cut strips of white rabbit fur but your method looks more solid and more fun.

That's a hippie looking fishing vest and bead tool necklace in your bear scouting pic. Very cool! I will be hunting bears in NB next May and there are rumored to be similar fish in the area I am hunting.

Doc,

Flyfishing is just another way of hunting with stick and string.
