Cutting Carbon Shafts

what tool is best for cutting carbon shafts without buying the $100 saws i see for sale on websites?  

i'm getting ready to start tuning my first set of hunting carbons and haven't cut carbons before.

Thanks, guys.  If I use a Dremel, what kind of cutting blade do you recommend?  An actual fine steel blade or a grinding wheel?  Is it tricky to get a square end?  Seems like it might be.  

Same question for the Harbor Freight Mini Cut-off saw. Type of blade?  Grinding wheel or steel blade?

I wouldn't want to splinter the ends and damage the rest of the shaft.

I use the reinforced abrasive cutoff wheels in the Dremel.   With a little practice (or a very simple jig) it's easy to get square ends.

Steel blade on the Harbor Freight.  Just don't try to zip through it.

I recently bought a "zip disk" you can get them at welding supply stores.  I found one with a half inch arbour and it fits my mitre saw.  Problem solved!!!!!!  It also works with aluminum shafts.
