happy shooter
« on: June 16, 2007, 05:41:00 PM »
I have to share a short story, went to a 3d shoot today.I been shotting longbow for year and a half, always go with the same friend and who ever loses buys breakfast,i buy lots of breakfasts,ha ha,well not today. And to top it off we got to the last target...bionic buck, well there was a bunch of compound shooters at it,one bragging to every one that he got a bullseye,he killed it,we being about the only traditional shooters there, they were waiting i was up and bullseye on the bionic buck.....could not have been better, especially with the looks and the comments we usually here. so i am one happy shooter today, dont know if ill ever do it again but i wont forget today..I hope it happens to every trad. shooter, just had to share it,thanks for reading... scott

for me max was 25yds... compound guys think one was max 35 other 40.  one blamed it on "new release".  my question is if your out at a tournament why would you change your normal set up?
