Shooting Left????
« on: July 22, 2007, 07:32:00 PM »
Just got a new to me 60" 45#@28" Wapiti TD.I draw a full 29.5",my arrows are 30.5 BOP.I've tried spine ranges from 60 to 70 with points from 125 to 190 and  all my groups that fly well are about 12" plus to the left of where I aim?The groups are tight and the  flight is good just left. So my question is,is it spine or is it form?I dont have this with any of my other bows. The distance Iam shooting from is bout 20yds. Thanks John

John:  Sent you a PM.  Wapiti's aren't centershot.  You're right handed.  I think you're overspined.

I agree with Orion, your way over spined if your right handed. You should be about 49#@29.5 with arrows cut to 30.5BOP and if the bow is less than center I would select, 55/59 spine, if its center shot add 5#
