Or are Trad bows far more tolerant of spine than compounds?
With my 50#@28" Hunter 56 shooting at 15' it delivers more than acceptable tears through paper with 30" feather fletched 2314's, 2413's, and 2315's. The 2413 consistently produces perfect bullet holes with the 2314 close behind. The 2315 is over-spined but certainly can be used in a pinch.
With my 57#@28" Hunter I, All three shaft sizes still produce acceptable tears, with the best again delivered by the 2413. The 2314 is showing weak spine but again, could be used in a pinch. The 2315 shows some over-spine, but not radically bad.
On the range and in stumping with both bows, they deliver all three arrows sizes to essentially the same POA out to 25 yards, with the 2413 being most consistent both in accuracy and visible flight.
There's no way in the world any of my compounds could do this with as wide of spine variation...
