Form vids
« on: December 16, 2007, 06:24:00 PM »
O.K. You'll have to hit mute to ignore my wife's commentary on the whole deal. But tear it apart. I'm gonna try and post better angles when I can.

Thanks

I've wanted to post shooting vids for a while, and when finally do, well, I get the commentary. I guess I need an updated version of Adobe to edit it.

She's a joker for sure!

OK heres what I see,

The first 2 shots on the rear view vid, were really very good...a little quiting the shot at release....then on the rest your were over leaning to the point of being off balance, bad enough that you were releasing as you were moving past target.

Remember, dont quit on the shot until you reach conclusion( conclusion is simply a point where your subconscious can say...OK this shots over) which can be as simple as fingers touching the shoulder, seeing arrow hit target, or hearing arrow hit target...no matter, as long as your conclusion takes longer to do...than it takes the arrow to clear the bow !

Yeah, nobody like a quitter I guess. I could feel those first two shots were spot on, but the rest were not so hot.

Shooting at the bag on the ground was a bad idea, as it was so close, I had to stand wierd to shoot. I'll try and post some better pics sometime.

Thanks for the insight.

LOL...your wife is too much. Did she give you the name Sweet Cheeks...because she sure talks about your butt alot. I think she likes it...LOL

I actually had to mute it so I can pay attention to your shooting  ;)

It appears you have good back tension.

The only thing I would suggest is to concentrate on your follow through a little more by holding your bow arm in place a little longer and settle into your body position before you release a little more. You seemed a little rushed and off balance a few times.

Ray  ;)

I am not sure my form would that look that good, if I knew a comedy routine was going on behind my back.
