Success
« on: January 11, 2008, 06:33:00 PM »
After A TON of work I finally got my shooting back in to shape. Im finally drawing anchoring and shooting like im supposed to. I no longer get target panic and no more early releases. Ive been doing a lot of stump shooting and even chased a few squirrels. I Ferguson longbow shoots unbelievable (thanks 7Eeyes) and im pretty accurate. I was shooting a bag I found in the woods at around 35 yards today and actually anchoring and releasing smoothly.

I would like to thank Jay (im sorry Jay I dont know your last name) one of our own sent me a PM with Jays shooting drills and I did them and they truly helped. I still do the drills everyday before I shoot just to keep everything in shape. Just figured id let everyone know and my rabbit hunt is happening this weekend I cant wait. Thanks for all who looked.

Not so well my dad got sick so I hunted near my house in a small thicket where ive seen and missed a rabbit before. I hunted/ stump shot for a few hours yesterday didnt see a one. Went in today to setup my deer target in the same thicket stepped down and 2ft from my foot ran a rabbit!  :knothead:
