Have any trad gang members tried the scent smoker? I've read about this, saw all the positive feedback and ordered one.

I have one. Havent really used it yet.
I've known people for years who wear there camo around a camp fire though. The scent smoker is a bee hive smoker.

I have not used it but I know the fellow that makes it. Hes a heck of a nice guy and a fellow trad shooter. He has killed many large deer using smoke to cover his scent.

I have used the smoke sticks you buy that burn like the punks you used to use to light firecrackers with. I have found them to be perhaps the best cover scent available. I have had deer walk in a 360 degree circle around me, while sitting in a cedar bush, and they were no more than 5' away and either never knew I was there or did not care. I made myself a smoke can with two coffee cans. Drilled holes in them and fixed one to fit over the other one. I just sit it a few feet down wind of me and the smoke sticks last about one to two hours.

I buy them out of the Cabelas catalog. They have a curiosity and sex scent. I have had great success with both.

Something about sitting in the woods burning incense makes me laugh.  Might be worth a try though. If nothing else, it's cheap.

I was hunting in Ohio this past week with a guy who has been using the Scent Smoker this year.  He said he has not been winded one time this year.  Could it be just coincidence or is it the Smoker?  Who knows.
