Arrow flight
« on: March 26, 2008, 12:28:00 PM »
I just finished a board bow and it's 35#@24" I have a arrow 35-40# 28"BOP w/125grn point. the arrow is flying slightly tail end to the left of the point end (I'm Right Handed). The arrow is hitting the spot I'm aiming at....

Is this arrow to stiff or to weak? I don't have a 5/16" taper tool so I can't cut down the length of the arrow.

Ok, earlier I was shooting and broke my last 35-40 arrow.....anyway I only had a 2016 30"BOP topped w/125grn point and they where flying like darts... how could this be.

2016 spines about 55-60.
Add 2" and you reduce it by 10# or so. 45-50.

Sounds like your wood arrows were weak in spine
