Blind squirrel finds nut!
« on: November 13, 2007, 10:02:00 PM »
Got lucky and came across a Ben Pearson "predator". Friend @ work found @ an auction and pawned it off to me for $25. Shape wise, 7 out of ten. The bow has a # 7359 on bottom limb. What does this mean. Also, I am pretty much a longbow guy, and I know avg brace heights for those. But not for a recurve. So if anyone knows, can ya help a brother out?  :knothead:

GREAT BUY!!!!! You Lucky Guy!!!!!

The number #7359 is the model number

Average brace height should be 8" to 8 1/2"

Take it out and shoot it!!!!! These old bows were meant to be bent!!!!!   :archer:

Thanks GASTUMP, very helpful. Glad to know about that site.
Woodchucker, I am actually making a string for it, while I was asking you guys about the brace height. planning on shooting it in the morning. Haven't found a bow I can't wear out yet.
 Once again, thanks.
