arrow spine

I have pma 5 black widow trying to buy some arrows, the person im buying them from says i need to know the correct spine for this specific bow, the draw is 54# at 28 inches thanks for any info

There are alot of variables in picking the correct spine for a shooter and his bow,but I would pick a .400 spine arrow.Like GT 55/75,Axis/MFX 400,Vapor 3000,Carbon Express 250(.387 spine) or any in that range and shoot and tune from there.Carbon arrows don't come in as many different spines as wood or aluminum,so they need to be tuned in my opinon.

For a 28" draw and a 29" arrow, I would try 65-75 lb spines.  Point weight, String type, shooter style, will all have some influence on what spine shoots best.
