Martin Hunter hitting high
« on: September 24, 2009, 09:50:00 PM »
My buddy's new bow is 45 @28. He and I both shoot about 8-12 inches high with it. I almost sent my 1st arrow over the target with it. I have to aim at the bottom of the bag to hit in the center at 15 yards.
Had a brass nock set on it and removed that and used a tied one at about 1/8" above level. Any idea of what is going on? It shoots best with a full length GT 35/55 with 100 grains of weight up front and a 125 grain field point. Flight isnt that great though.

A 1/8" seems pretty low,try raising your brace height. Most of my bows I start at 1/2" above 90 and fine tune from there. And also if you are you 3 under you may need a higher brace like maybe 3/4" above.

There is no problem, you just have to aim lower. What is your point on distance?
