Bought a late 60's Damon Howatt in very nice condition. Having a lot of trouble shooting consistently. Spines not behaving like they should all the time. Just measured it and its about 3/32" past center on the shelf cutout. I have been shooting off the shelf. I think if I have a perfect release all most all spines fly ok to good but if I torque the string any tiny little bit at all on release or my form is a little off the arrows spray all over. What can I put behind the sidewall rug plate to improve arrow flight? I don't have any peep tubing which is one recommendation I have seen.
