stinky old Doe..

I killed a doe on sun. that smelled like an old buck. I think it was about 31/2 or 41/2 yrs old. Killed a younger one today not as strong but still musky. I havent killed lots of does but I cant remember one smelling like these. Do you think the Buck could have just left them or are there just some rank Doe??  :rolleyes:

The doe I killed this year smelled bad too. I am leaning toward the estrus cycle theory.

P.S. Although she smelled foul she is eating quite well!

It means they have been bred, You were smelling the buck's secretions all over them.
