Clickers and drawing the bow past anchor.
« on: May 13, 2010, 10:11:00 PM »
Okay, so I bought a clicker from Lost Nation tonight to try one out. Now I have some questions.

First, are they hard to adjust for drawlength?

Second, I hear a lot of stuff about drawing to your anchor, then drawing another 1/8 to 1/4 inch or so. Can someone please clarify this a bit? Do you move your whole hand and draw arm that distance? Or do your fingers and what not still stay in the same place more or less?

That's all for now. I'm REALLY not clear on the drawing stuff.

When you reach your draw, continue to pull with your back muscles until the clicker clicks. When I say use your back muscles it like you are trying to pull your shoulder blades together.

One thing about clickers:It can get a bit frustrating when you start using one,but don't give up on it.If you suffer from target panic its a life saver. After a while, shooting with a clicker will feel normal to you.
