I use rabbit zonkers from a fly tying shop. You can get marabou feathers there also. Both come in many colors but I have found white to be the most visible and chartreuse green next.
I have used fletch tape and contact cement to install them.   Pat

I've used feathers and fur--like the feathers a little better.  You can get a sack full at a hobby shop, just strip them yourself;  or buy a rabbit hide at a redevous and cut it yourself.

For a buck you can get a big bag of maribou at most craft stores.

I use double stick carpet tape and white rabbit fur. Thery've lasted all fall and seem to work as well as those I bought from 3 Rivers a few years back.
God bless,Mudd

The road to "Sherwood" makes for an awesome journey.
