I tend to be a lurker and a sponge, but I had to write to say how much I appreciate all the help available on this forum. I'm a newbie (haven't shot a bow since high school and I'm nearly 70)and was getting my arm slapped so bad my left forearm was twice the size of my right. Searched under "arm slap", found all kind advice, and thought I was doing all those things. Then I found a post by Scriv about extending my bow arm and then bringing my hand back. Bang - right in the face. Only way I could get that hand to come back to my chest was by REALLY turning my elbow out. Tried it for a dozen shots and you can probably guess what happend to the arm slap. Some folks just need things explained differently!
Thanks.
Ron
