strings for draw checks

istalled a draw check some weeks ago seems to have some wear on the string mounted to clicker ,,, what type of serving material or string are you using need advice ?

I'm not sure exacly what you mean, but I throw away the orginal string and chain and replace it with the string-loop material the compound guys use. I leave a 1" tag for adjustment. I serve about five turns of nylon above the tag to keep it tight. Here's a picture--perhaps it will help.

Jim our clicker setups look identical cept for my tag end is a little shorter.
I serve with dental floss above and below the string. For hunting if im worried the head of the clicker may come loose I even put black tape around that. Its pretty well bomb proof then

Mine is just like Jims, doesnt get tangled up with big string, Tape is also my favorite.
