Clicker Part
« on: September 22, 2010, 11:09:00 AM »
I bought a longbow last year that had a clicker installed. It has a small piece, about 1/3 the length of the base, with about a 45 degree angle bent into it attached to the base with a small screw. But, there is no "blade" on it. Does anyone have a source for blades or can someone tell me how to make my own?

I do not know of any sources for blades, but a new clicker only runs $15 max. It may be worth the time and trouble just to purchase a new one.

1/2" steel binding/strapping 1 1/2" long; nippers; 1/8" drill bit, and a punch to make a detent.

Jim, is the detent used just to keep the drill bit from "walking" on the strapping when drilling the holes.

A pic of a blade would be helpful if someone can post.
