I actually started off 3 fingers under. Migrated to split fingers because of the bow noise. Swapped back and fourth for a while and then stuck with split. I could get out of the string much easier and it felt better. Also had the issue of tournament rules.

Since I have began paying a little more attention to finger pressure on the string with split finger, it seems to be alot better. I have been tinkering with 3 under, and I just can't get the "feel" i like.
