arrow nock left at 15 yards
« on: February 10, 2011, 05:22:00 AM »
ha there i have been playing around with my form and now my arrows are tailing the knock to the left at around 15 yards or so. im not shore if i have increased or decreased my draw yet. i shoot left handed and was wondering if it means weak spine or to heavy? im not shore if it changes when you are shooting left handed in stead of right.

Do you think its a form problem or a tuning problem ?
If its a tuning problem maybe  try re posting on Pow Wow and you'll get more responses .
What is the set up ? what arrows ? As a lefty it sounds like the arrows are stiff ... try a heavier head weight and see if that corrects it.
Is this with the Hill ? If so remember that they are nowhere as tolerant in spine as bow that are cut closer to center.

I agree with Ben.  You may have increased your draw some. Try a bare shaft & see what happens.  If still nock left, try a muchheavier tip & see if things change.
Also, you may want to try 20 yards & see where the nock hits as well.

Yea it's the hill bow 57# @28" and I draw to around 30"  arrows only have 125 up front as they are mt ash and are quite heavy as is with an ok Foc of around 10 I might try some with a bit more wieght up front and see how it goes will prob be good to get my Foc up a bit as well.
