Soooo.. I think I have read about this somewhere before, but I just started doing it.
I get to my anchor point, and lock in with back tension. Then, to trigger my release I push the bow forward with my left arm and pull the string about 1/4" further back with my draw hand (rt. hand) simultaneously. This auto triggers my release.
My groups were PRETTY good before I started doing this last week, but this seems to have really sealed the deal.
I think that I am forcing back tension by doing this even more so than I was by locking into my anchor.
Is there a name for this??
