I have suffered with this issue for more than 1 year and tried everything under the sun. Here is what actually worked for me.

1. Shoot a bow with 1/2 the draw weight you currently shoot. I went down to an old 20 lbs recurve and it did wonders for me.

2. Start aiming. I found Stringwalking (aiming point of the arrow on the target point) to be very helpful.

combining 1 & 2 for a few weeks got things under control for me. I moved back to me heavier bow but still stringwalking, will start to transition to gapping soon.
Thanks
K

Best advice ever. I took one of my crappy arrows out and was shooting at my target, with this advice in mind. I didn't care if the arrow flew into the woods, completely missed the target, etc.

I just focused on getting my draw hand finger to the corner of my mouth, settling into the deep back muscles and getting a good release and follow through.

The arrow hit within 2 inches of my intended spot about 10 times in a row.

Wow. Good advice. Stop Caring and just let the bow shoot itself.

Give the clicker time and it WILL work. Practice close and really get the feel down. I come to a good solid anchor settle in then commit to not stop pulling until my hand stops on my shoulder. The clicker has greatly increased my control and over all confidence. Its a good feeling getting to full draw and knowing the shots not goin off until your ready for it. When shooting with a clicker "Dont pull to it pull through" it I always say!

My clicker keeps pulling off of the bow. The original adhesive did not stick, so I tried to use a hot glue as I knew I'd be able to get it off of the bow without damaging it. That pulled off as well.

Sam wrap the base with Eletrical tape. That solved the problem for me.
