The Oak Trees are Mocking me
« on: November 20, 2007, 05:58:00 PM »
No really, they are! The oaks that surround and shade the parking lot at my office are teasing me by dropping an obscene amount of acorns. As I am walking through the parking lot in the morning I hear the sound of acorns falling on pavement. Not the sound of acorns on leaves, but acorns on pavement. Do not get me wrong, I have had a good year, been on two or three trips with friends, passed up a shot at a forkhorn in Nebraska, spent a few great days in a blind with my 12 yr old son but it is not fair for there to be this many acorns this late in the year at work.
