Funny how "learning" goes in circles, and the moments of "enlightenment" often are a realization that "I knew this already - so why haven't I been doing it ...???"
- It really is all about back tension (Doh - slaps forehead)
- as Rod writes on his site: Excessive tension during the draw, hold tension at full draw, increase tension until release
- good bow shoulder tension, placement and alignment makes all this happen much easier - without it, it's very difficult to find back tension at full draw.
Oh, and inconsistent form makes arrow tuning a "fumble stumble" walk in the dark
