rest for Martin Tracer
« on: September 09, 2012, 05:55:00 PM »
I have a martin tracer.  It is basically a compound riser converted to a recurve.  With that it is cut way past center so a rest is needed I know a flipper like the NAP center rest will work but I am going to try an old golden key rising star rest on it.  They were sold for years as a finger shooting rest and know they were used for finger shooting compounds so I figured it should work for this setup.  Any one have any experience with shooting this type of rest.
If it doesn't work I can always putt a flipper rest on it.

MrS,  You'll get a better response if you put this up on the Pow Wow.  Yours is not a "Form" question.

Sorry I was trying to figure out where this might fit best.  I thought the pow wow section was more hunting oriented so I stuck it here.
