I finally got to meet Ron also and was very impressed that as busy as he was he took time to talk to me  about his UP deer camp. Thanks Ron for it is people like you that drew me and my Family to the trad side of things.

HI Guys,
My son and I are huge Ron LaClair fans, but live in TN which is a bit far to travel this time of year. I hope to have the joy of meeting him in person one day soon. I did get to speak with him on the phone today, what a GENT !!! I am cursed by being LH and Ron helped me find a bow today, cannot thank him enough !

Also a special thanks go to Roger and Ray, fellow Shrewhaven guys !!! Thanks for helping me get what I needed !!! Now I know why my son and I got into trad. It is all the fine people you meet !

I'm waiting for Ron's Shrew Flintlock :-). He has a great talent on the smokepole side of things as well.
Maybe instead of a Hawken Ron could name it the Shrewken   :readit:
