Rotational draw, setting barrel of gun
« on: April 30, 2015, 08:40:00 PM »
I think I had a breakthrough with my draw yesterday. I have been working on "setting the barrel of the gun" without using my string arm (right) bicep (strained tendon twice in the past).  Trying to just turn my torso to get the first half of the draw, but it never came out right.

Then yesterday it hit me, I used my bow arm (left)shoulder and triceps to pull the bow to the left as I rotated my torso, but the bow stayed lined up with target. It felt completely different than my previous attempts.  I think I got it now.  What do y'all think?
Maddog Mountaineer 57# and Prairie Predator 52# Wow!, Samick Sage 35 - 60#,  I'm learning.
