Im a snap shooter, but frequentlyI nock an arrow and SLOWLY draw the arrow back to my anchor point....pause there, then slowly lower it to rest position.Then I repeat the process another 6-10 times..! With my eyes closed the entire time..!
I do this to recalibrate my hand/brain syncrinization. I do it in front if a bale at maybe 5 yards?? Just in case I should accidently release, which I never have.
